Harald Schiffl

Crisis communication and crisis management expert.

Harald Schiffl has been in senior management roles in renowned PR agencies for over 20 years and is one of the professionals who introduced the specialism of crisis communication to Austria. He is also a specialist in strategic communication consulting, lobbying and public affairs. Earlier in his career, he worked abroad for many years as a public relations consultant for various NGOs and public relations agencies. He has authored books and written numerous professional articles on crisis management and crisis communication. He also lectures in public relations and crisis communications.

 

Prof. (FH) Dr. Michael Schmitz

Management consultant and coach. Co-founder of the consulting firm "Schmitz GmbH“. In his early career, he was a crisis and war correspondent as well as chief reporter for ZDF. He studied psychology with renowned happiness-researcher Mihalyi Csikszentmihalyi, earned a MA from the University of Chicago and a PHD from the university of Vienna.

He received management education from Chicago’s Graduate

School of Business (today Booth Business School) and

graduated from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Schmitz, author and co-author of several books,

is professor of psychology and management at the

Lauder Business School, Vienna.
